Hey, I’m Katrina and I am 20% photographer, 20% designer, 5% world traveler, 5% wanna-be chef, 50% mom and 100% creative. This blog combines my work (photography and design) and my personal life together into one place.
Currently I am spending most of my time living in Norway, more specifically Northern Norway (yes, I have seen the Northern Lights and yes, I have seen a real life reindeer). So if you’re in Bodø and surrounding areas give me a shout out and let’s connect. Side note, my Norwegian is currently very limited but hey, I’m learning… so English is the preferable mode of communicating. The other part of my time is spent in Las Vegas (yes, there is life there beyond the Strip), and I’m usually there roughly 3-4 months out of the year.
A quick back story, I have been working now as a graphic designer for close to 15 years and somewhere along the way I have also picked up photography as a hobby which eventually turned into photographing weddings, children and families professionally.
I shoot mostly documentary style using natural light and have a thing for bright, vibrant colors. Every couple, every kid and every wedding is different and I strive to capture everyone’s uniqueness in a real, honest and creative way.
What you will find here…
Most of what you’ll find here are the stories of my daily life. Photos from my travels and outings, tips on photography and photo editing, freebies such as tutorials and templates and even an occasional recipe.
As mentioned before, this page is more of a personal thing than a business thing but yes, you can book photography and design services here with me.
